How to make face wash at home. Simple and effective folk recipes for cleansing the skin of the face. Skin cleansing with cornmeal

In order to preserve the freshness and youthfulness of the skin for a long time, you need to know what is the best way to wash your face and how to do it correctly. No cosmetic product can completely replace washing, so they still remain an important element of daily facial care.

How to wash properly

Wash your hands thoroughly with soap before washing your face. Choose the right water temperature. There is a myth that it is necessary to wash cold water to close the pores. In fact, the ideal water temperature for this procedure is room temperature, comfortable.

You can wash your face with a decoction of chamomile

Do not hurry. Gently massage your face with the cleanser, and only then rinse it off with water.

If you use foams, gels and other soap-based products, wash them off with water several times. Residues from these products can clog pores. No need to wash your face with a sponge, it is too gentle for that. For the same reason, do not overuse the towel. Choose only soft towels, lightly blot your face with them.

Apply cream immediately after cleansing to retain moisture.

No need to overuse washes. Two or three times a day will be enough. And finally, never go to bed without washing your face. Always cleanse your skin before going to bed, even if you didn't leave the house that day.

How to wash your face at home

Washing with soap is a thing of the past. Women who take care of themselves know not to wash their hands with soap. To do this, you can use purchased foams and gels, or you can choose inexpensive improvised means.

  • Chamomile decoction. The best solution for oily and sensitive skin. It is not necessary to wash it off with water.
  • Milk. Its beneficial properties for the skin have been known since the time of Cleopatra. After 2-3 minutes after washing with milk, the skin should be rinsed with water.
  • Honey. Dilute 1 teaspoon of honey in a liter of warm water. There is no need to rinse off this product. Do not worry, the skin will not be sticky, on the contrary, it will be fresh, clean and radiant, with a light honey aroma.
  • Decoctions of cereals. When you boil rice or oatmeal, drain some of the water and use it to wash your face. These decoctions well tone the skin of the face.

It is not necessary to stop your choice on any one of the described means. You can alternate them, your skin will only be happy with such a variety.

Now you know how to wash your face. Wash your face regularly and do it the right way. Only well-cleansed skin will look healthy and well-groomed.

Despite the huge selection of skin cleansers, many women still prefer folk recipes. The thing is that store-bought gels and foams for washing contain a lot of chemical ingredients, surfactants and aggressive detergent bases. Organic products are more gentle on the skin, but, again, they contain a lot of preservatives and are not cheap. Luckily, there is an alternative!

You can create a cleanser with the composition that you choose. It is no secret that within a month the skin partially changes its type - from normal to oily. This is due to the work of the hormonal system - and a home remedy can be adjusted to skin changes. The quality of its ingredients is always higher than in purchased products, which means that the skin is not subject to overdrying, irritation and acid-base imbalance.

Making a homemade cleanser

We are used to the fact that foams and washing gels lather abundantly and cleanly wash off dust and makeup residues from the skin. It would seem that this is convenient, because sliding provides deep cleaning of the pores. You will be surprised, but abundant foam is not required for high-quality facial cleansing! There are many products that are gentle on the skin, cleanse it and at the same time do not lather at all.

Homemade cleansers practically do not foam, and this is the norm.

We conclude: in order to prepare a home remedy for cleansing the skin, you need to know which products have pronounced cleansing properties. The combination of such products with base and essential oils, as well as useful decoctions and infusions will help create a cleanser suitable for your skin type. The following components are suitable for cleansing:

  • Wheat, oat and rye bran;
  • Blue, pink and green clay;
  • Oat flakes;
  • mustard powder;
  • Baking soda;
  • Sea salt;
  • Rye bread;
  • Essential oil of tea tree and cinnamon;
  • Kefir.

Features of using home remedies

Since the composition of a homemade product is noticeably different from the store, it is necessary to remember some features of its use. For example, you should always use the product only on pre-moistened skin, otherwise you can not only stretch it, but also injure it with large particles. Also remember, contrast douches will help enhance the metabolic processes in the skin and increase the effectiveness of home remedies. And a few more rules:

  • When using abrasive ingredients such as oatmeal and bran, you should not apply the product to the delicate skin around the eyes - this is fraught with microtrauma and the further appearance of a fine network of wrinkles.
  • Mustard powder should not be applied to the delicate skin of the eyelids - this can cause irritation and swelling. Owners of hypersensitive skin are not recommended to use mustard powder at all in order to exclude the manifestation of allergic reactions.
  • People with dry and sensitive skin should not use salt in cleansers, as it can cause discomfort and cause redness of the skin.

Due to its high cleansing properties, for best results, it is better to use a homemade product once a day - so you do not dry out the skin. Even combination and oily skin with regular use of a homemade cleanser becomes more matte, and the amount of sebum on its surface is significantly reduced.

Homemade Facial Wash Recipes

The benefits of using a natural cleanser will be maximized if you correctly determine your skin type. After all, the drying and matting properties of products for oily skin are categorically not suitable for dry skin. If your skin periodically changes towards a more oily type, be sure to prepare two different products and wash your face with them alternately.

Products with large particles are not suitable for washing sensitive skin!

Gels, foams and other store-bought cleansers cleanse the skin well, providing additional care. However, they may contain hazardous substances that prolong the shelf life of the product sold and promote good foaming. For this reason, it is best to prepare your own face wash from natural products. Remember that a nourishing and moisturizing cleanser should be applied to cleansed skin.

How to make your own face wash

In the morning (before washing), experts recommend using ice cubes made from mineral water. Only after that you can apply gels, foams and other cleansers.

Do-it-yourself facial wash recipes

The most convenient and affordable option is washing your face with foam, which retains skin moisture for a long time and removes not only excess fat but also clogged pores. You can store it for no more than 3 days in the refrigerator, using a tightly closed glass container.
