Zverugo Polina Nikolaevna, methodologist of the State Educational Institution "Slutsk Children's Art Center".Description: The creative workshop takes the form of the Little Prince's journey through the exhibitions-platforms of the Craftswomen of arts and crafts. Students take part in the folk games "Fern Flower", "I counted someone else's steps, I lost my sandals", get acquainted with the technique of work execution, make a product with their own hands. Duration - 1 hour 20 minutes, number of participants: 110 people. Students age: 9-14 years old.
Target: familiarizing students with folk crafts of their native land.
Tasks:
- to form curiosity and cognitive interests of students;
- to promote the development of emotional responsiveness and interest in various types of arts and crafts;
- to cultivate a love for the crafts of the native land.

Master of Magic Clay: That's right guys! The whistle is a clay product. Most often, pottery was a family business; all family members were engaged in the manufacture of clay products: both adults and children. The owner was engaged in the manufacture of dishes, and the hostess and the children sculpted bells, toys and whistles, and then sold them at the fair. Whistles were used not only for fun, but also had a ritual character. The Belarusians believed that the figurines of people made of clay personified their ancestors. Animal figurines affect the welfare and prosperity in the family.
Lead 2: To this day, clay modeling is a folk craft, an art form and a hobby for a huge number of adults and children.
Dough modeling is an art no less ancient than clay modeling.
Master of Magic Clay: Currently, there are plenty of materials for modeling: plasticine, gypsum, dough, sand.
Of all the materials, I chose dough and began to use it successfully in my work.

Embroidery is a homework activity. Only the most experienced embroiderers performed handicraft work at the request of fellow villagers. Embroidery was one of the activities of Belarusian women. Embroidered products, especially towels, were passed from mother to daughter. The main pattern is geometric, and red is symbolic, like the color of the sun and life.
Lead 1: Embroidery is the oldest craft. Every girl had to embroider. And today the one who is in love with it continues this craft.
Craftswoman-Embroiderer: And I have a gift for you, Little Prince.

Among different peoples and at different times, we meet a variety of products made in this technique. They are obtained by sewing together scraps of fabrics of different colors and patterns, while the scraps must have the correct geometric shape.

And teachers of additional education see their task in multiplying the spiritual potential of the younger generation, the formation of its intellectual, moral and aesthetic culture through a deep interest in the past of their people, in national, domestic and world cultures.
Our Palace of Creativity is that niche in education, which is the keeper of folk, national culture, because folklore, painting, decorative art are studied and developed here.
Initiation into a master of arts and crafts is a small experience of the OU DOD DTDiM in the study, preservation and development of folk art through the revival of folk traditions, crafts, pride and love for the native land.
This methodological development is intended for methodologists, teachers of additional education of artistic and aesthetic orientation and arts and crafts.
The methodological development is intended to assist in the initiation of students of the first year of study into a master of decorative and applied arts or during any open lesson in applied associations.
