DIY simple flowers from plastic bottles

The simplest flowers are made very quickly, but at the same time they look very original, especially if bottles of different sizes and colors were used to make them.

Manufacturing process:

1. Remove labels from bottles. In order to simplify this work, you need to use a regular hair dryer - direct a stream of warm air to the label and it will easily come off. 2. Measure from the bottom 1/3 of the length of the bottle and cut off. Put the rest of the bottle aside, it will definitely come in handy.
3. Start making petals. The bottom of one plastic bottle has 5 grooves. Therefore, you need to make cuts with scissors along the lines of these grooves. They should be as deep as possible, right down to the middle of the bottle. As a result, you should get 5 petals.
4. Form petals - for the first time, you can draw the rounded edges of each petal with a marker. Only then take the scissors and correct their shape.
5. Round off each petal - very carefully melting each one over the candle flame. Lines become smooth, sharp edges are removed, thanks to this they can be bent, bent and trimmed. Do not overexpose the petals over the flame, otherwise you can ruin everything.
6. Fasten the middle of the flower. To do this, heat an awl or a thick needle over the candle flame and make two holes in the middle of the product, as in a regular button. Then pass a wire through one hole, put a decorative bead button on it and release it through the second hole. Wrap the wire from the back.
7. In this way, all other flowers can be made, they can also be stapled into a bouquet or wreath.

It is impossible to remove layers of glue, use cotton pads or cotton wool, as the fluff from it remains on the surface of the bottle.
