First, let's prepare the shape in which we will shape the salad. It will be flaky, so you will need either a serving ring or a mold like mine. But keep in mind that for the serving ring, the layers should be laid in the reverse order of the one indicated in the recipe. We cover the form with cling film. It is needed so that later the salad can easily move away from the walls of the form.




Lubricate the mold with a little mayonnaise.




The first layer, which will then turn out to be the last, will be finely chopped egg white.

One of these “golden” options is a salad with red fish. I offer two win-win recipes: the first with vegetables, the second with rice.

Salad with red fish and vegetables

Lay out the salad in layers. Its main highlight is red fish, all other ingredients are quite familiar and affordable.

Ingredients:

  • slightly salted red fish (in my case -),
  • boiled potatoes - 2 - 3 pcs.,
  • boiled carrots - 2 pcs.,
  • onion - 1 pc.,
  • pickled cucumbers - 1 medium or 2 small,
  • eggs - 3 - 4 pcs. (also depending on the size),
  • mayonnaise.

Boil carrots, potatoes and eggs, cool and peel. Remove all bones from the fish. We will lay out all the components in a salad bowl in layers.

First layer - potatoes, top - mayonnaise

First, grate the potatoes, spread them and grease them with mayonnaise on top.


Second layer - fish

Now we cut the red fish into pieces and place them on top of the potatoes.

Sprinkle chopped onions on top of the fish. Now grease with mayonnaise.


Third layer - carrots and mayonnaise

The next layer is grated carrots and mayonnaise again on top.


Put a thin layer of cucumbers on top of the carrots, one or two are enough.


The last layer is egg whites and mayonnaise

Immediately after the cucumbers, rub the egg white. Lubricate the top with mayonnaise.



And rub the egg yolk on top of all this deliciousness.

That's all! Our delicious red fish salad is ready! We send it to the refrigerator for several hours so that each layer is soaked! Bon Appetit!

Red fish and rice salad (sushi salad)

In another way, this salad is called sushi cake or sushi salad. The ingredients are identical to those added to sushi. However, the cooking method is much faster and easier, but the taste is in no way inferior to real rolls.

Ingredients:

  • nori sheet,
  • any red fish,
  • fresh cucumber,
  • processed cheese,
  • apple cider vinegar and sugar.

Optionally, you can replace the processed cheese with mayonnaise and add a little wasabi. Here is a matter of taste.


Prepare a salad dish and line it with cling film.


The first layer is a red fish. Above - processed cheese (for convenience, you can squeeze it out with a pastry syringe).


The second layer is cucumbers. Cucumbers need to be cut thinly and dried on paper towels. A vegetable peeler will help you thinly cut the cucumbers. Squeeze the processed cheese on top again.

Mix apple cider vinegar and sugar, or add a little salt. Or you can add soy sauce. Add the resulting mixture to rice. Also add a finely chopped nori leaf to the rice.

We spread the rice on our salad. Now our sushi salad needs to be put under pressure and let it brew for several hours.



Turn the finished salad with red fish onto a dish and serve!
