The second in the medal standings, according to the agency, will be the Chinese team with 72 medals (31-27-14). The Russian national team in the forecast is given the third place. The British, who became third at the 2012 London Olympics, will drop to seventh - 48 (10-17-21).

Recall that a year before the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Infostrada in its forecast put the Russian national team in sixth place with 15 medals (7-3-5).
