Review of LG X Mach - a budget-friendly productive smartphone. LG X Power review - budget smartphone with a powerful battery Lg x power new review

At the beginning of the sixteenth year, users were simply amazed by the abundance of low-budget solutions that were presented various manufacturers. LG did not stand aside either, which even decided to surround its smartphones with an aura of mystery by releasing model range under the symbol X. It seems that the manufacturer has hopes for this series, because it continues to expand: a new one has been added to the stylish LG X style, long-lasting LG X power, photographic LG X cam LG X mach model. What features will surprise you with this model?

Design and positioning

X mach is positioned as the most productive model. But this does not mean that in terms of design the device turned out to be boring. On the contrary, instead of a mediocre design or an iPhone-like design, we see something original: LG has always been famous for its simple but self-sufficient design. In this case, we see a device in which the silver side frame does not occupy the entire edge, like most modern solutions, but is located at the top. The remaining part of the edge merges with the back part. But this feature is only on the side edges; in the upper and lower parts, the silver frame runs in the middle: perhaps this unevenness makes Lji x mah recognizable. Considering the productive filling, the case turned out to be quite thick: 8.9 millimeters. At the same time, the battery capacity does not go beyond the norm: 3000 mAh.

Performance

Yes, this is the strong point of the device, which brings it into the mid-segment, if not into the flagship segment. This is because the platform is built on the 808 snapdragon, which has four cores running at a frequency of 1.44 GHz, and two more provide performance in resource-intensive applications, operating at a frequency of 1.82 GHz. The Adreno 418 video chip is responsible for the graphics. But this is not surprising, because the resolution of the 5.5-inch display is 1440x2560 pixels. The display itself is made using IPS LCD technology. Taking these characteristics into account, the manufacturer equipped its device with the currently optimal 3 gigabytes of RAM and a permanent storage of 32 GB, naturally expandable. As you can see, the smartphone is capable of competing with last year’s flagships, especially since it has another strong point that simply cannot be ignored – the camera. It has a resolution of 12.3 megapixels, but the pixel size is 1.55 microns, which will allow good photos in difficult lighting conditions.

In February 2016, LG Electronics introduced new models of mid-range smartphones - LG X Cam and LG X View. At the presentation, the president of the company's mobile division, Yuno Cho, expressed the opinion that every smartphone owner has his favorite feature, which means there is a need for devices that can perform a well-defined, most necessary task in a particular case. At the same time, there is no point in overpaying for other functions that the user does not need.

The opinion was transformed into a concept, and two models into a line of new smartphones, where each is characterized by its own “superpower”: LG X Cam has two main cameras, LG X View has two screens, LG X Style is thin and stylish, and LG X Power, Based on the name, it is equipped with a reinforced battery.

Appearance, design

A pre-production sample of the model appeared on the test site LG XPower– without packaging, included only with a charger with a USB output.

The color is white (also available in gold and indigo (dark blue)), monoblock form factor.

The body of the smartphone is non-separable, at first glance it is made of plastic, although the back edge resembles fiberglass in texture and tactile sensations. In any case, there is no play in the parts, and there is practically no creaking during torsional deformation - a good result for a device with stated dimensions of 148.9x74.9x7.9 mm.

The weight of the smartphone is only 139 g. By analyzing the overall dimensions and weight, one can judge the manufacturer’s desire to fall within certain minimum limits. It should be noted that such a solution is only welcome, since often models with a reinforced battery are simply thick “bricks” without a hint of any ergonomics.

The body of the LG XPower is thin, the corners and edges are rounded. The decor is discreet and calm. A black screen with buffer zones, a white edging around the perimeter and two parallel chrome stripes on the side edges.

The smartphone screen size is 117x66 mm, and the size of the protective glass is 139x71 mm. At the top, at the edge of the glass, there is an elongated speaker covered with a plastic mesh. On the left, just below, you can see the LED indicator, the front camera lens, light and proximity sensors. Below, under the screen, is the company logo. Traditional touch buttons Menu, Home, Back not here - they are on-screen.

On the reverse side, in the upper left corner, there is a main camera lens with an LED flash, and in the lower left corner there is a multimedia speaker (four square holes are also covered with a mesh).

There is an adjustment button on the left side volume and a slot for installing SIM cards and a memory card (you can install either two nano SIM cards, or a SIM card and a micro SD card), on the right is the power button / blocking.

On the bottom edge there is a micro USB port, a 3.5 mm jack for connecting a headset, and a microphone hole. Another noise reduction microphone is located on the top edge.

Hardware platform, performance

Alphanumeric model name LG- K200 D.S.. For the middle class, the smartphone has quite attractive technical characteristics:

5.3" screen with a resolution of 1280x720;

64-bit Mediatek MT6735 processor (4 cores 1.3 GHz, Mali-T720 video chip);

RAM 2 GB;

Built-in memory 16 GB;

Main camera 13 MP, front camera 5 MP;

Battery capacity 4100 mAh;

Bluetooth 4.2, WLAN 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, LTE support, USB 2.0;

Hence the corresponding performance result in all types of tests.

In addition, the smartphone can handle a number of virtual reality applications.

There were also no comments regarding the functioning of the interface, the launch and operation of applications - smoothly and correctly, despite the fact that it is a pre-production sample.

Software usage and functionality

As always, the smartphone was used for typical tasks for about a week. The conclusions on the key points were as follows.

The sides of the smartphone are glossy, so the device may slip a little in your hand. Its small thickness also contributes to this. On the other hand, the world is gradually getting used to large screens and getting used to holding such devices in their hands, so the voiced complaints will soon be leveled out. It is convenient to carry a smartphone in your pocket (thin).

Fingerprints do not remain on the case, but are clearly visible on the display. Basic control operations are not satisfactory, but still, subjectively, I like it better when the buttons volume control And enable/disable located on one side - fewer unintentional clicks.

As noted above, the main control buttons are on-screen. Default from left to right: Back, Home, Menu, SelectSIMcards. Why “default” - the location and composition of the buttons can be changed. Among other things, almost every button works in two modes: short press Home performs the function of the same name, a long press launches a Google search, a short press Menu starts windowed mode, long press – opens the menu, short press ChoiceSIMcards makes a change, long - opens the settings.

The display, alas, is characterized by subjective sensations. An IPS matrix with a resolution of 278 ppi is used. There is automatic brightness adjustment, and there is a large adjustment margin. Viewing angles are good, especially horizontally. Color rendering is normal. Ten-point touch input.

I was pleased with the quality of communication that the device provides. The voice of the interlocutor is clear, strong, as if you are nearby, and according to surveys this sensation is two-way. The multimedia speaker also does not lag behind – the sound is clear and moderately loud.

You don’t expect any tricks from the cameras – the megapixel numbers are captivating. That’s right, in the “shot on a smartphone” format there are no complaints.

The maximum image resolutions (16:10) are 4160x2336 for the main camera and 2560x1440 for the front camera. Video recording is carried out with a resolution of 1080p in mp4 format.

The only thing is that the camera settings are somehow not enough:

Main camera;

Front camera.

The smartphone has many settings for each SIM cards separately and for their joint work. You can associate each contact with a specific SIM card and make future calls without hesitation.

Finally, the “superpower” is a rechargeable battery with a capacity of more than 4000 mA. It is clear that everyone will have their own result, but still. In “calls only” mode, the smartphone lasted 3.5 days. In active mode (8 hours of video, surfing the Internet), 60% charge lasted for 11 hours. The battery is charged from standard charging in just 1.5 hours.

"Fotosklad.ru"

We know LG smartphones from the G series. These are the company's flagships, which have proven themselves well. Today we are reviewing a representative of the X line, which includes several models: Cam, Style and Power. As part of this line, Cam received a dual camera, Style - a thin body and a smaller diagonal, and Power - a larger battery. It’s the latter that we’ll talk about today.

LG X Power is a mid-budget smartphone with extended battery life. As usual, let’s briefly go through the characteristics:

Display IPS, 16 million colors, capacitive
Display diagonal 5.3 inches
Display resolution 1280x720
operating system Android 6.0 (Marshmallow)
CPU Mediatek MT6735
Video accelerator Mali-T720
Volume RAM 2 GB
Volume of permanent memory 16 GB
Memory card slot Yes, up to 256 GB, combined with a second SIM card slot
Rear camera 13 MP
5 MP
Video shooting
Number of SIM cards 2, nanoSIM
Interfaces GPS (A-GPS, GLONASS), Bluetooth v4.2 LE, microUSB, 3.5 mm jack, FM radio
Fingerprint scanner No
Fast charging Yes (full charge in 1 hour 50 minutes)
Battery 4100 mAh, non-removable
Weight 139 g
Dimensions 149 x 75 x 7.9 g
Colors Gold, white, indigo

As you can see, nothing special is visible at first glance except a capacious battery and light weight. Well, let's see what he's like at work.

Box and accessories

The device comes in a fairly standard box with the name of the smartphone on top. Inside there is already the usual standard equipment for this category of smartphones: the smartphone itself, cable, charger, extractor clip and manual.

Frame

The smartphone body is made of aluminum. This is a solid monoblock without any backlash or creaks. It fits perfectly in the hand, no complaints.

Screen

The screen of the device is not amazing - the resolution is only 1280x720 pixels, which is not enough for a 5.3-inch smartphone. It is made using IPS technology and covered protective screen Third generation Gorilla Glass. The colors are bright and rich.

operating system

The Android 6.0 operating system is installed on board the smartphone. Russian language, of course, is supported. No lags or delays in animation were noticed.

Processor and memory

The device has 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of permanent memory. If the RAM is enough to run most applications, then the permanent memory is still not enough. A microSD card, a slot for which is prudently installed in the smartphone, will help solve the problem, but in this case you lose the opportunity to install a second SIM card. In addition, you can connect an external flash drive thanks to USB OTG.

The processor installed is far from the most powerful, frankly speaking, a little outdated - MTK6735. Yes, it will be enough for most applications (for example, the Youtube application opens and plays videos without problems), but you can forget about resource-intensive games. The AnTuTu test results confirm this.

Interfaces

The smartphone has the basic necessary interfaces: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Wi-Fi, unfortunately, is only supported in the 2.4 GHz band. There is also an FM radio, which will delight those who like to listen to their favorite FM station.

Unfortunately, charging and connection to the computer occurs using the microUSB connector. I would like the guys from LG to take an example from their Chinese comrades and make a Type-C connector even on such inexpensive models. It is unlikely to be expensive to produce, and it is much more convenient for everyday use.

Battery

The battery capacity gave this smartphone the name Power. It is an impressive 4100 mAh. With average smartphone use, this battery will last for 2 days. The battery is also fast charging: a full charging cycle will take less than 2 hours, according to the company.

Communication and sound

There are no complaints about the sound, the external and ear speakers are loud, the sound is clear. The sound in the headphones is also good.

The connection quality is decent. The smartphone supports LTE bands 7 and 20, which are the main ones in the Russian Federation. There is no support for band 38. This is quite strange, considering that LG in Russia is one of the key players in the smartphone market and is trying to supply the most adapted devices for our market. In general, this is not critical, but we leave a note.

Camera

The smartphone, like most of its brothers, is equipped with one front and one rear camera with LED flash.

The built-in camera app opens in full screen mode. There is a small set of settings, including filters. I liked the feature with the front camera: when you point it at your face and freeze for a couple of seconds, the camera takes pictures itself.

You can judge the quality of the camera from the photographs below:

With sufficient lighting, the smartphone takes good pictures for its level, but in twilight and darkness pronounced noise appears. The front camera works at 4 minus.

Results

LG's smartphone turned out to be quite a compromise. The rather outdated processor and low-resolution screen are compensated by a large battery, light weight, durable body and the ability to work with two SIM cards. There are also interesting software solutions, such as an automatically detecting face and taking photographs of the front camera. For the money they ask for it, it is not the strongest competitor to uncertified devices from Chinese companies (Xiaomi, Meizu and others) - certification of devices in the Russian Federation is quite expensive. However, if you prefer only products with the PCT mark and branded support and warranty throughout Russia, then the smartphone will become good choice. In addition, there is a small bonus from LG - 100 GB in Google Drive for 2 years.

If you want to buy a cheap smartphone with large battery, the company has an offer for you. The LG X Power model is a device in a plastic case with a simple design and a 4100 mAh battery. The LG X Power has a 5.3-inch screen, but is more similar in size to 5.5-inch smartphones due to the thick bezel around the edges of the screen.

Buying a smartphone is a long-term investment, so the battery is not the only factor when choosing one. There's an important question to answer: is the LG X Power good device generally? Is it worth buying, or does the low price come with too many disadvantages? The answer will be given below.

LG X Power Design

With a simple plastic body appearance The LG X Power is underwhelming and doesn't make it stand out from other models. However, the build quality is at a decent level.

Plastic cases were common in Android smartphones two or three years ago, so the LG X Power looks like an antique - but not a valuable antique, without metal or glass elements. This is a cheap smartphone and it looks cheap. This does not make it fragile; nothing in the case wobbles or creaks.

Despite the impressive battery, the device is quite thin - 7.9 mm, and weighs 139 g. The back side is embossed, which makes it more comfortable to hold the smartphone in your hands. The screen tapers slightly at the top and bottom and there are no sharp corners, which improves the ergonomics of the device.

There is no fingerprint sensor here, so you won't be able to use it to protect personal data stored on the device. The housing is not waterproof.

Screen

The 5.3-inch LCD screen has a bluish tint and lacks sharpness, but bigger problem there are large frames around the edges and glare, which are difficult to deal with with a smartphone outdoors. The screen resolution is 720 x 1280 pixels. This gives it a pixel density of 277 ppi, so individual pixels can be seen, especially when reading text. This is expected for a budget device.

The colors are far from ideal: white has a bluish tint, and the rest are also not very accurate. The color range is limited, the tones are muted.

There is a light sensor that automatically changes the screen brightness. Most expensive smartphones have this feature, but it is not always found in budget devices. There is also an LED notification light.

Interface and functionality of LG X Power

The device uses LG's UX 5.0 interface, which offers its own icon style, colors and overall feel. operating system. The absence of an application list is immediately noticeable. Like Apple iOS and many Android shells, user interface simply places application icons on the home screen.

The on-screen keyboard here is not the best, so typing is slower than usual and more mistakes are made. Haptic feedback is turned off by default, and when turned on it turns out to be fuzzy and blurred together after pressing each button.

A plus is support for the Knock On and Knock Code functions, so you can use presses instead of a PIN code or double-click to wake up and lock the device.

Processor, memory and performance X Power

LG X Power is available in two variants. The international version is powered by a MediaTek MT6735 processor with 2 GB of memory. This is a fairly old chip, familiar to entry-level Chinese Android smartphones. The American version uses Snapdragon 210 and 1.5 GB of memory. The review considers the first option. The 4-core chip uses Cortex A53 cores with a frequency of 1.3 GHz.

The low screen resolution and LG's optimizations allow the device to cope well with everyday tasks such as calls, browsing and email. Braking, if it happens, is rare and insignificant.

Heavier tasks noticeably slow down the device, as shown by benchmark results. The X Power scores low on GeekBench, so the CPU isn't the fastest, and when it comes to gaming and graphics, the lag is even further, with just 4.7fps in the GFX Manhattan test.

Another cause for concern is the limited amount of flash memory, only 7GB. There is a slot for microSD memory cards, so this value can be increased.

Internet and communications

Even at a low price, LG X Power supports the 4G LTE communication standard. The international version supports LTE bands 3, 7 and 20. Work with the Internet is carried out through a pre-installed Chrome browser, optimized for touch screen. Other communication standards are Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC.

LG X Power Camera

LG X Power uses an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture, and a 5 MP front camera. The camera app is excellent: it launches quickly and has convenient separate buttons for photos and videos. This allows you to avoid searching for a switch between modes and start shooting faster.

There are a number of effects applied to images, you can take panoramic shots, but there is no support for HDR.

Photo quality

Photos look good when you get the focus right. Focusing works slowly, some photos turn out blurry in cases where other smartphones produce a clear picture.

Otherwise, by the standards of a budget smartphone, there are no problems with the photo: it lacks a little dynamism, but colors are well reproduced, exposure and sharpness are good.

The flash changes the colors to cooler colors with a greenish tint, which doesn't look too good. In complete darkness this is better than nothing, but flash should be avoided whenever possible.

Photos from the front camera turned out to be excellent, with good detail and color reproduction.

Video quality

As expected, the LG X Power does not support 4K video recording. At 1080p resolution, recording is carried out at a frequency of 30 frames/s with a bitrate of about 17 Mbit/s.

Even at 1080p resolution, the video cannot be called good: it shakes because there is no stabilization. Clarity isn't as good as you'd expect from 1080p, and we couldn't get the device to use autofocus all the time.

Audio

At the bottom at the back there is a single small speaker. If you place the smartphone on a table or other surface with the back cover facing down, the sound is distorted, but even without this it is not very good: the volume is sufficient, but there is not enough clarity and depth.

Call quality

These days there are almost no problems with calls in smartphones, but the LG X Power managed to become an exception. The sound quality of the speaker during calls is terrible: it is too quiet and voices are distorted, so it is often difficult to understand the other person.

On the other side of the line, the interlocutor hears the speaker well, but not perfectly: there are still problems with clarity.

Autonomous operation

A 4100 mAh battery, not the most powerful chip and low screen resolution allow the smartphone to operate for a very long time between charges. LG promises two days, and with rare use the smartphone can last all three.

In the test of typical device use, the LG X Power showed the best result among all participants in this test of all time. It ran for 15 hours 18 minutes, which is almost twice as long as compared to (7 hours 15 minutes) and (8 hours 15 minutes).

A charger with 2.0 technology is supported, which speeds up the charging process, which is important considering the battery has such a large capacity. A regular charger will take a long time to charge from 0 to 100%.

Conclusion

The device has a number strengths: duration battery life the main one among them. The call quality is poor, the flash memory is small, but in everyday use the device does not cause problems, and the camera gives nice photos, if you manage autofocus.

The smartphone belongs to the inexpensive category, but there are models with discounts that are similar in price and of higher quality. Despite this, those who want maximum autonomy can choose LG.

Pros

  • Autonomy
  • Good performance
  • Photo quality from both cameras
Cons
  • Flash memory capacity
  • Plastic design
  • On-screen keyboard

Smartphones spend more time with us than anyone else. More than a significant other, children or a cat. Therefore, you cannot buy models in which “everything is the same, but here it could be better.” Only those who have never used one before can afford to buy the first phone they come across. cellular communication. But we, experienced “warriors” of the mobile front, know what we want?
Another question is that, starting from times of crisis, smartphones have ceased to be cheap, which means that you won’t be able to get everything at once and inexpensively. We have to take average models in all characteristics, in which nothing is brought to shine. But LG did it differently: they improved mid-range smartphones in different directions to satisfy customers with different needs. In theory, models with “narrow specialization” will be better than their peers in each of their areas. Now we will check if this is true.

From left to right: LG X cam, X style, X power, X view

Design and management

Plastic smartphones have become exotic today. Probably in vain, because mobile phones, legendary for their durability and reliability, were made of plastic. Less weight, more scratch resistance, and in winter the palm will not stick to the body during a conversation, as is the case with metal counterparts. And even the design of plastic smartphones with current technologies turns out to be more memorable. Remember the inexpensive metal models - they all look the same! But our heroes are noticeably different in appearance.

The power and volume keys are located in the same way on the X-series. In other nuances, smartphones are different - as they say, in taste and color.

LG X style was created with the simple thought that “bye spaceships roam the expanses of the Bolshoi Theater,” mobile phones still turn out to be thicker and heavier than they should be. Processors consume less energy, displays become brighter and more sophisticated, chips become smaller in size, but “shovel recorders” still hit the shelves. X style is designed differently - no “ overweight", no bulkiness for the sake of bulkiness. Light and comfortable, you hardly feel it in your pocket - with a thickness of 6.9 mm, this is one of the most sophisticated modern smartphones in general.

This will sound strange, but X power is from the same opera. It’s just that now Korean engineers have solved another problem - they have created a long-lived model in a regular body. In the white version, the smartphone body is smooth on the front and matte textured on the back, and “chrome” lines stretch along the sides of the body.

A hefty battery with a capacity of 4100 mAh (the same as that of two budget mobile phones combined) was fitted into the body of an “ordinary phone” and covered with a pleasant-looking embossed cover. True, the tightly packed battery had to be made non-removable - today there is no other way to make a long-lived smartphone slim.

X cam is the golden mean between X-series smartphones in terms of performance. Smooth body lines, a sloping panel near the selfie camera - almost like the flagship G5 SE. But the main thing is the mirror of the soul: the “eyes” of the two rear cameras. The technology is still strange, but useful - a little later we will tell you why most smartphones will soon become “big-eyed”.

LG X cam and its two rear cameras

X view - flat, light, glossy. Even the speakerphone is located on the bottom edge, and not at the back, like its X-series brothers. This design suits the LG smartphone. The most important thing about this model is the second display, which displays notifications from applications and email when the main screen is busy with other tasks, games, videos, GPS navigation, or in sleep mode.

Screen and sound

LG was and remains one of largest producers LCD displays - an army of laptops, smartphones and TVs display images precisely through Korean matrices. Therefore, LG with its “home” production can afford to stand out.

The fact is that today smartphones are divided into two groups according to screen size: “smartphones” (up to 5.0-5.1 inches) and “phablets/tablet phones” (5.5 inches and above). The first ones are more convenient for calls and fit more conveniently in your pockets, while on phablets it is more convenient to watch videos and read texts for a long time. LG has made a universal option - smartphones with a diagonal of 5.3 and 5.2 inches. This is exactly the display found in X power and X cam.

X view, on the contrary, was made as compact as possible and convenient for use on the run. And it has... two screens. Not in the same way as in clamshell mobile phones, but for a different purpose.

Even those who don’t like to torment their smartphone for hours on end repeat the same procedure dozens of times a day: take the phone out of your pocket, turn on the display, look at the time and check notifications. A familiar, but rather strange ritual is as if a car had to be started and turned off every time in order to open or close the door.

Therefore, the LG X view, straight from the premium model LG V10, has an additional display that shows the date, time and battery charge level Always! When there are notifications, they also arrive on a special screen. Due to this, almost no battery is consumed, compared to the rise/fall procedure for a large display, and it is simply faster.

But the second screen is not alive for hours alone. You can display a quick launch of anything on it (mute the sound, turn on the flashlight, for example). When you use a smartphone, using the display you can switch between running programs: SMS, browser, player - or dial your favorite contacts with one click. Or switch music without being distracted from your main tasks. Display it with a “reminder” of something important, or simply an encouraging or memorable inscription. Set up the camera, answer or hang up a call, read a message without displaying it on the full screen - there are a lot of options and they are easy to choose to suit your taste.

As for dry performance, the brightest display is on the X cam with Full HD resolution and the X power with HD resolution (much more than 300 cd/m2). In X view and X style, the luminosity is not so “hard”. The color reproduction isn't academically accurate, but you're not printing posters directly from your smartphone, right?

But music lovers will be pleased - the standard audio player is immediately equipped with all the necessary “twists” for customizing the music to your taste.

Iron

For a big ship, a long voyage. That's why wealthy guys buy rugged SUVs and never drive them into the mud, and computer enthusiasts buy flagships with powerful processors, after which these smartphones almost always work at half capacity - there is simply no load for them that would reveal their full potential.

And since “bodybuilders” are not needed to carry a bag of bread, there is no point in installing power-hungry processors. Therefore, X cam, X view and X power make do with economical and agile chips based on Cortex-A53 cores. X style runs on Cortex A7.

The least brute force is in X style, which is designed for correspondence, music, and the Internet without fanaticism and extreme haste. X view and X power - do everything the same, but a little faster due to a more expensive processor. But X cam is a smartphone that can handle a heavy load and a stack of open applications without consequences.

Software

The main thing you need to know about the “brains” of the LG X-series is that we have one of the easiest to learn and friendly system shells. All applications for mail, weather, Internet, music, notes, files and other little things are available. Even Facebook and Instagram were included in the package! Everything works quickly, does not require “file modification” and looks nice. Anything is better than the original version of Android, which is like a deserted apartment with only wallpaper.

Cameras

Most interesting hero for photography, of course, LG X cam. There is no other mid-range smartphone today that can boast a dual rear camera. Don't know why it is needed? Wits, of course, can suggest that they “take pictures twice and choose one successful shot,” but in fact, the purpose of the second camera is different. An additional module is needed in case “you need to move away, otherwise nothing will fit in the frame.” There is no need to go anywhere else. And there is no need to squat or stand on tiptoes either. Because the viewing angle of the additional camera is 120°, like DVRs or other television equipment. Almost any object you see with your eyes will fit into the frame of a wide-angle camera.

The rear cameras of LG X cam and G5 SE are similar in design, but the flagship, of course, takes better pictures

You can even switch between the two rear cameras on the go while shooting video. That is, no one will get lost in the video if you have an X cam in your hands.

Other smartphones are simpler and take pictures typical of middle-class models. You can spice up your photos with ready-made color filters in the best traditions of Instagram; shooting collages and panoramas is also supported.

Photo examples

Selfie cameras are also a feature. If necessary, smart automation will make the owner look cheerful and beautiful in the frame even after a sleepless night, and smartphones can also take a portrait as soon as they catch a smile on the owner’s face. And, of course, to take pictures you can simply command “chiiiiz!”, just like in the good old days.

Autonomy

Remember the Russians folk tales, in which guys, each with their own abilities, came to the aid of the heroes? So, when it comes to autonomy, the specialist in this field, LG X power, performs best.

Experienced smartphone users can roughly imagine how durable a model with 4100 mAh on board and an economical quad-core processor can be. For everyone else, we inform you that the smartphone can withstand a day of work, even if you do not give it rest for hours on end. If you use X power in normal mode: a little of everything throughout the day, then it will run out of power only on the third day of use.

In normal mode, the X power refills its large battery at the same rate as thinner, less durable smartphones. That is, to recharge from zero to a “full tank” it will take a little more than an hour and a half. But, with the fast charging function, users will be able to charge the smartphone almost twice as fast as usual - in 45 minutes the battery can be recharged to 50%.

A full recharge takes just under two hours.

All other X-series smartphones are designed to last a day. X style, under high load, may require recharging at the end of your working day from an outlet or some stylish portable battery.

Conclusions

There are no smartphones that will please everyone at once - even obscenely expensive flagship models are better at some things and worse at others. Therefore, all smart phones are divided into those that are suitable or not suitable for you specifically. The lack of a smartphone, which at first seemed trivial, will begin to irritate more and more over time. This means that you don’t need to buy models that have “a little bit of everything,” but smartphones with the features you need.

This is the essence of LG smartphones - models without record specifications, but comfortable And do what is required of them well. Further choice is a matter of taste.

LG X power- a thin, practical and very durable smartphone. Discharges slowly, charges quickly. Durable, reliable, convenient.

X style- a model with an “ideal figure”. Heir to the design tradition of the time when it was good form to produce thin, light and compact smartphones, and not “shovels” with a huge display. It makes calls, connects well, copes with correspondence, music, video and the Internet, and consumes little energy.

X view- an elegant “individualist” for those who do not delve into their smartphone very often during the day, but like to always have everything in sight. Time, messages, all the little things in the “quick launch”, etc. The second display is an excellent replacement for the flagship “always on” screens and notification curtain (which needs to be pulled out from above every now and then) in Android.
