Lavash roll with melted cheese

Insanely easy, but very tasty and beautiful appetizer! Believe me, this dish can surprise even the most demanding gourmets! Soft and juicy Armenian lavash, delicious cheese filling, which is accompanied by a subtle aroma of garlic, and a light taste of fresh herbs... Well, who can resist such a treat!

Ingredients:

  • processed cheese – 400-500 g
  • chicken eggs – 4 pcs.
  • garlic – 3-4 cloves
  • thin lavash (Armenian) – 3 pcs.
  • chopped dill - 3 tbsp.
  • head of lettuce – 1 pc.
  • mayonnaise - to taste

Cooking method:

  1. So, first of all, let’s boil the eggs (hard boiled, of course). Then we cool them and clean them. Grate the peeled eggs on a coarse grater or chop them finely with a knife (or mash with a fork).
  2. After this, grate the processed cheese (or you can crush it with the same fork). We separate the salad into individual leaves, wash them thoroughly and dry them (put them on a paper towel). If you wish, you can chop them a little (or just tear them with your hands), however, as a rule, the leaves are laid out whole.
  3. We rinse the dill greens very well under running cold water (by the way, it doesn’t have to be just dill, you can safely use any other of your favorite greens). Dry it and chop it finely.
  4. Mix crushed eggs with melted cheese, then add chopped herbs to the cheese-egg mixture. Peel the garlic and chop it very finely (either grate it on a fine grater or pass it through a garlic press). Then we send it to eggs with cheese and herbs.
  5. After this, fill the resulting filling with mayonnaise and mix everything very thoroughly. It should be noted that the more mayonnaise you put in, the better the pita bread is soaked and, thus, it will be softer. However, do not overdo it so that your filling simply floats out of the roll.
  6. Place one thin fresh sheet of Armenian lavash on a comfortable work surface, and lettuce leaves on it. Now put the cheese and egg filling on the salad. Then lay out the next sheet of pita bread and repeat the procedure. Place the pita bread again (this is the last one), then the greens and filling.
  7. Next, wrap the pita bread into a roll (try to squeeze it tightly while rolling). We wrap the finished roll in cling film (foil or a simple plastic bag) and put it in the refrigerator to steep for about an hour and a half (or better yet, a couple of hours).
  8. When serving the lavash roll with melted cheese to the table, cut it into equal portioned pieces (approximately 2-3 centimeters wide) and place them on a beautiful dish that you can decorate with lettuce, herbs, cherry tomatoes or olives.

Lavash rolls with ham, cucumbers and melted cheese

Well, a very quick, tasty and original cold appetizer, which will take you no more than 15 minutes to prepare! The range of products is minimal, as are labor costs. These rolls are perfect for a snack, but they will also come in handy on a picnic. They do not require time to soak and soften the pita bread, since they contain pickled cucumbers.

Ingredients:

  • thin Armenian lavash,
  • ham,
  • pickled cucumbers
  • processed cheese,

Cooking method:

  1. We will turn the filling into a spread, that is, chop it in a food processor, so first of all we will cut the cucumbers coarsely.
  2. We also cut the ham into large pieces.
  3. Place everything in the bowl of a food processor and chop using the knife attachment.
  4. Literally half a minute and you're done!
  5. Coat the lavash with melted cheese.
  6. Spread the mixture of ham and cucumber, then spread it evenly on top of the cheese.
  7. Now we tightly roll the pita bread into a roll. Here's the roll.
  8. Cut it into portions and serve!

Lavash rolls with melted cheese and tomatoes

Ingredients:

  • thin lavash 1 piece
  • soft processed cheese 100 g
  • tomato 2 pcs
  • sprigs of parsley and dill 6 pcs
  • vegetable oil
  • 10 g green
  • onion feathers 3 pcs

Cooking method:

  1. This dish is very simple to prepare. For it we will need thin Armenian lavash; it is better to buy lavash in the shape of a rectangle; it looks better in the finished dish, because it has smooth edges and, accordingly, is more convenient to roll into a roll.
  2. The pita bread should be soft and not burnt (this happens), otherwise we will have to fry it anyway, but more on that later. As for cheese, it is better to use processed soft cheese (like Viola, Hochland) with a classic creamy taste.
  3. To begin with, we take our pita bread and spread it over the entire surface (on one side) with a thin layer of cheese (2-3 mm).
  4. Now cut the tomatoes into cubes and finely chop the greens. Place the tomatoes on the pita bread with cheese first, then the greens. We spread it over the entire surface of the pita bread, but not in a very thick layer, that is, the pieces of tomato and herbs should be located quite freely from each other.
  5. Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil over high heat and lay out our roll to fry. Within a few minutes, the roll acquires a golden brown crust (do not overcook the pita bread in the pan, it will turn out tough).
  6. As soon as one side is fried, turn the roll over and fry the other side.
  7. Cut the toasted roll into mini-portioned rolls and serve. This dish is wonderful both warm and cold. Great for picnics. The taste is delicately creamy with subtle notes of greenery. In short, it’s very tasty, I advise everyone to try it.

Lavash rolls with melted cheese

Ingredients:

  • thin lavash - 1 piece;
  • processed cheese - 2 pcs;
  • garlic - 2 cloves;
  • mayonnaise (if necessary) - 1-2 tsp.

Cooking method:

  1. Preparing such rolls is as easy as shelling pears: three melted cheeses of your favorite brand on a fine grater. I take cheese curds already with fillings - with the taste of herbs and garlic, but you can also take simple ones like “Druzhba”.
  2. Following the cheese curds, grate a couple of cloves of garlic. If you like it very spicy, add three slices instead of two.
  3. Mix this entire mixture thoroughly until smooth. If the processed cheese is quite hard and not very flexible, then you can add a couple of teaspoons of mayonnaise to the mixture to make mixing easier. But don’t overdo it with mayonnaise: it can quickly make the lavash soggy and soggy.
  4. Now we lay out one sheet of thin pita bread on the table and spread it with cheese and garlic paste using a spoon or knife.
  5. Spread the entire surface completely, to the edges, distributing the mixture quite thinly.
  6. Roll the pita bread into a roll.
  7. And immediately use a sharp knife to cut the roll into pieces approximately 1.5-2 cm thick.
  8. We serve lavash rolls with melted cheese and garlic for any first course - soup, fish soup, borscht. This is delicious! These rolls will go down well even with tea.

To prepare the snack “Lavash rolls with melted cheese” I use Armenian lavash - it is thin, elastic, bends well and does not tear when bent. Plus it's tender and delicious.
Any soft processed cream cheese such as VIOLA, PREZIDENT or FRIENDSHIP will work well as processed cheese. These cheeses have a soft, uniform consistency and spread evenly without difficulty.
Let's start preparing the rolls by preparing the ingredients.
Boil the eggs hard and cool. Peel the shells and grate them on a fine grater.

We wash the parsley under running water, dry it with a napkin and finely chop it.

We peel the garlic and pass it through a garlic press.
Let's prepare the filling.
To do this, combine eggs, parsley, garlic and mayonnaise and mix well.

Next, lay out the pita bread on the table, apply processed cheese to the entire surface of the pita bread in a thin, even layer. It is important to avoid empty spaces.
To do this, it is convenient to use a butter knife with a rounded end.

Next, distribute the filling, also evenly over the entire surface of the pita bread, but in a thicker layer.

Now let's start forming the roll. Carefully wrap the lavash with filling along the long side.

Then you should pack the resulting roll in cling film and place it in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes.
This will allow you to cut the roll into small portioned rolls carefully, without squeezing out the filling from the cut ends.
After the time has passed, take the roll blank out of the refrigerator and, using a serrated knife, cut it into portioned rolls 1.5-2 cm wide.

Lavash with canned food and cheese

This snack is quite inexpensive. All you need to buy is a can of canned fish and processed cheese.

Ingredients:

  • lavash – 1 piece;

Lavash with sausage filling

This appetizer is more like a salad, wrapped in pita bread for convenience. It is better to give preference to cheese with a neutral taste.

Ingredients:

  • lavash – 1 piece;
  • processed cheese – 100 g;
  • Korean carrots – 70 g;

  2. Unroll the lavash sheet and spread with soft melted cheese.
  3. Cut the tomato into thin slices and place on the cheese.

  6. Roll tightly into a log.

Since the filling contains tomatoes, the pita bread does not need to be infused. The tomatoes will release juice and the dough will become soggy. Therefore, the roll can be immediately cut into portions and served.

Lavash snacks can be eaten warm or cold. This is an excellent replacement for the usual sandwiches.

Pita. It would seem like a simple, unleavened Armenian flatbread, what can you come up with from it?

But women never cease to amaze us.

There are so many recipes for lavash: with crab sticks, with herbs, with meat and liver... in one word - a lot of options.

Attention!

New masterpiece!

Lavash roll with melted cheese

In just 40 minutes you will get a nutritious, tasty, presentable dish! So let's begin.

Ingredients(for one roll)

1. Lavash – 2 flatbreads (1 package)

2. Processed cheese – 5 pieces

3. Fresh cucumber – 2 pieces

4. Sprats – 1 jar

5. Dill greens – a bunch

Products on the table - let's get started!

Let's immediately prepare all the fillings for the lavash. You and I will have two of them. One is made from processed cheese and sprat, the other is made from cucumbers and herbs.

Filling 1

The first thing to do is put the processed cheese in the freezer for 10 minutes. It should be tight and dense, so it’s easier to grate it and it won’t crumble.

In the meantime, open the can of sprat, put it on a dish and gently mash the fish with a fork directly with the butter into a paste.

The cheese froze slightly in the freezer for 10 minutes, take it out and grate it on a fine grater.

Now you need to combine the cheese and sprats.

In a deep bowl, gently mix these two ingredients.

Add 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise or sour cream.

We set aside this filling to “soak.” For now let's move on to the next one.

Filling 2

Grate washed fresh cucumbers onto a coarse grater.

Wash the dill greens and finely chop them.

Combine the greens with cucumbers and add a little salt.

Add just a little salt so that the grated cucumbers don’t start to drip.

Both fillings are now ready.

We take the pita bread, very carefully unfold it, put one flatbread aside, spread the other evenly, smooth it with our hands and put the filling on it (cucumber with herbs). Before posting, check to see if the cucumbers have released any juice.

If there is a little, drain it. The filling should not be liquid (otherwise the pita bread will get soggy).
