Famous Russian blogger. What successful bloggers are silent about: all the secrets of making money on YouTube. Sasha Spielberg - Sasha Spielberg

“This is Good” is a popular Latvian Russian-language Internet show produced since October 16, 2010. The program is broadcast twice a week - on Tuesdays and Fridays.

The blog is dedicated to reviewing funny videos on the Internet, similar to the show of American columnist Ray William Johnson.

The host of the program, Stas Davydov, gives his comments on videos sent by viewers or found by them. Interaction is usually used at the end of the transmission. In the early episodes of the program, another character participated - the illuminator Nastenka (more precisely, her voice), who began to appear again from the 164th to the 178th issues. Distinctive feature project - no obscene language. YouTube viewers perceive the blog “This is Good” as an alternative to another popular blog “+100500”. Both blogs are Russian-language analogues of the Ray William Johnson show.

From the 29th issue, questions are removed rather than written. From the 48th episode of the show is released in HD format, and from the 55th to the 208th issue the show began to be published with interactive subtitles on English for foreign users.

Issues 70, 96, 141, 198 and 308 were conducted by Ruslan Usachev. This fact was not very well received by the audience - all five times the videos received much more “I didn’t like” scores than in other episodes. Most commentators considered Ruslan not artistic enough. Issues 146, 195 and 298 were conducted by Ilya Prusikin, which was also received very coldly. The 214th and 310th editions were conducted by Mikhail Krzysztowski, who was received very warmly. The 243rd episode was hosted by Lee Kei, which again received a lukewarm reception. In the 296th issue, Stas Davydov announced that he was going to write vocal parts for his new group"Banana Bomb", and therefore in future episodes he will be replaced by guest hosts. The 297th episode was hosted by Danila Poperechny, the 300th by Daniil Maslennikov, the 301st by Sam Nickel, the 302nd by Yana Nezhdanova, the 303rd by Evgeny Zelenov, the 304th by Maxim “SnailKick” Kiselev, the 305th by Elena Rassokhina, 306th - the creator of the project Vitaly Golovanov, the 307th episode was conducted by the drawn Stas Davydov, created and voiced by Dmitry "Syenduk" Karpov, the 309th - Kirill Trifonov, Alexander Shuliko and Denis Kukoyaka, the 311th - Stas Oksaniy, and 312th - Victoria Yushkevich.

Since the 87th issue, the project has changed visually: the creators changed the inscriptions on the screen from white to gray with a white border, moved the microphone to the bottom of the frame, changed the design of the YouTube channel and the background on which the presenter is filmed, and also removed the “Spontaneous Madness Indicator” . As of Episode 97, the answers to questions shown at the end of the video have been corrected. And starting from the 100th issue, the person whose interactive video question was included in the issue receives a branded T-shirt from the “This is Good” team. The design has changed again since the 270th issue: now there is a corner of the studio behind the host, the wall is white on the left, and black on the right. Photographs appeared one by one on the white wall. female breast and Milla Jovovich, then a sheet of paper pasted by Elena Rassokhina with the inscription “Stas is a fool”, whose place was then taken by a sheet of paper with a frame of Natalia Poklonskaya’s speech at a press conference.

The richest YouTube vloggers in 2019

This ranking table shows the approximate income of Russian YouTube bloggers at the beginning of 2019. It is important to note that these figures are just income, and not the final profit of bloggers. Often, most of the income is invested in the production of new videos, so the net profit from the channels remains a mystery. This list contains only those bloggers for whom YouTube is the main platform for earning money, which was calculated based on the cost of advertising integrations.

Top 12 richest bloggers and show business stars

The RIAB agency also assessed the income of show business stars and came to the conclusion that they still earn more on social networks than video bloggers. The richest author of the YouTube channel Wylsacom in terms of income for the second half of the year was surpassed by Olga Buzova (47.7 million rubles), Ksenia Borodina (42 million) and Ksenia Sobchak (28 million). RIAB attributes this to the fact that stars, unlike bloggers, can afford to advertise any product category without irritating their audience.

The phenomenal popularity of the YouTube service has given rise to a whole trend on the Internet - video blogging. The most popular channels on YouTube have several million subscribers and tens (or even hundreds) of billions of views. These fabulous figures give rise to even more fabulous rumors about the “rivers of gold” in which top YouTube bloggers bathe. Which, in turn, forces more and more new users to start their own channels on YouTube, post a lot of videos of ambiguous quality and content, and imitate “YouTube stars” in every possible way. This is happening all over the world, in Russia in particular. But the absolute majority of channels on Russian-speaking YouTube do not have even a fraction of the popularity that the top 10 Russian-language YouTube channels have. In terms of the number of subscribers, the total “army” of these channels exceeds 77 million!

Well, now more about each of them.

Leader of the top 10 YouTube channels in Russia – Ivangay

This incredibly popular video blogger owns a channel of the same name (Ivangay, formerly EeOneGuy), which has as many as 11 million 798 thousand subscribers! Just a scary number.

As of the date of preparation of this review, 310 videos posted by Ivangay on his channel have collected a total of more than 2.6 BILLION views (although he is only in 2nd place by this indicator).

How did the channel of the most popular Russian-speaking YouTuber begin? No matter how trivial it may be, it’s from Minecraft let’s plays. If the last 2 words are unfamiliar to you, then (this is good) we are ready to “pump up” your erudition by telling you what it is.

So, the term “let’s play” is explained in Wikipedia as follows:

Those. a video blogger films him playing and commenting gameplay, and then someone watches it. If you ask yourself the question “Why is it needed?”, then it’s better not to ask. The let's play genre is so popular that there are even special TV channels dedicated to this activity, and "streams" on video hosting sites attract millions of viewers around the world, bringing let's play video bloggers millions of dollars.

Well, what is Minecraft? Again, let's ask the all-knowing Wiki:

To make it even clearer, this “indie game” looks something like this:

Again you ask the question “Who needs this”? Then you are either too old for “all this”, or simply not “in trend” :) As you will see below, Minecraft has become the “launching pad” for the lion’s share of our top 10 Russian-language channels on Youtube.

The first video of blogger Ivangay dates back to March 24, 2013, i.e. he posted it 5 days after the launch of the channel on YouTube.

At first, only the gameplay was reproduced on the video with voice accompaniment by Ivangay’s comments, but already from the 9th video, the video blogger decided to “reveal his face to the world,” which was displayed in the corner of the screen. Vivid emotions, comments and cuteness of the “host” definitely contributed to the increase in the popularity of EeOneGuy’s videos on YouTube.

Thanks to whom did Ivangay’s YouTube channel become so popular? Of course, thanks to the main “consumers” of such content - schoolchildren and schoolgirls aged 12-15, who consider it their idol. Guys like to watch a person of the same age as them (or a little older) openly grimace for the camera or play and say whatever he wants, and girls squeal from “how cute Ivangai is.”

It is clear that the fame of Ivan Rudsky (yes, that is the real name of this blogger) is not some kind of spontaneous accident. Still, the number 1 video blogger on Russian YouTube makes quite high-quality content: there is staging, good video mixing, and high-quality sound with pictures. Well, in the end, Vanya himself is never a fool.

An example of his video from a time closer to our days:

High quality, with humor, very interesting for many. The result is more than 9 million views of the 6-minute video!

This is the secret of success.

Let's move on to YouTube mastodon number 2.

No. 2 in the top 10YouTube channels in Russia - Masha and the Bear

No matter how strange it may be, the second by the number of subscribers and the first by the number of views in the ranking of Russian-language YouTube channels is an animated project, initially aimed “at TV”:

Yes, yes, this is everyone’s favorite (especially for children’s audience) cartoon “Masha and the Bear”.

As of June 2017, the number of subscribers on the YouTube channel of this project exceeded 10.3 million people, while it has an unreal 12.1 BILLION views!

If the television viewer was first introduced to “Masha and the Bear” in January 2009, then the YouTube audience saw this cartoon in its “home field” much later: the Russian-language channel “Masha and the Bear” was created here on May 31, 2011.

Unlike many filmmakers and cartoons, the promoters of this project in no way prevent viewers from free access to their creation. On the contrary, they contribute to the “viral” spread of the animated series on various resources, including pirated ones. The conquest of the YouTube space was also quite logical and visionary: it is not only popularization of the project, but also a good income from partnership with YouTube (display of advertising). Moreover, the creators of “Masha and the Bear” are waging a very cunning fight for views: for each episode of the cartoon, several “trailers” are pre-posted, which themselves gain from several hundred to millions of views. Well, uploading a full episode is guaranteed to have more than a million viewers.

Thus, the absolute record was set by episode 33 “Sweet Life”: 627 and a half million views!

The reasons for its popularity and second place in the ranking of Russian YouTube channels, we believe, do not need much explanation: “Masha and the Bear” deservedly enjoys the attention of families with children thanks to its very high-quality execution: in less than 10 minutes, children are told another interesting, exciting and funny story with original and beloved characters. Mischievous Masha and poor Mishka, looking at whose adventures anyone will begin to smile, are concrete proof that the Russian animation school has not only not lost the heritage of the Soviet past, but is also capable of making a modern product that will be close to every child, no matter what language they speak. spoke. Proof of this is more than 10 foreign YouTube channels - clones of "Masha and the Bear", the views on which also number in the millions.

And, according to tradition, the first video from the channel:

Third place in the ranking of RussiansYouTube channels: CrazyRussianHacker

To be honest, we cheated a little by including this channel in our Top 10. The fact is that the only Russian here is the video blogger himself, a couple of dozen videos with a title in Russian, and the word “Russian” in the name of this YouTube channel:

All videos on the “CrazyRussianHacker” channel are made in English with an indescribable Russian accent! In fact, the creator of the project, Taras Kulakov, actually comes from Ukraine. But, having moved to the USA to pursue the “American dream” and somehow came to video blogging, he nevertheless began to use the image of the “Russian guy”. This is understandable - stereotypes about Russians in the United States will clearly be better known than anything about Ukrainians (gentlemen, Ukrainians, if you are reading this now, no offense).

So, what statistics is this channel ready to boast of?

Subscribers - 9,905,572 (as of June 2017).

Number of videos – 1037! Bearing in mind that the channel was created later than the two “competitors” already discussed, Taras’s productivity is clearly higher. Although, given that there are still fewer views, we can conclude that he wins not by quality, but by quantity :)

Although in fact this conclusion would be erroneous - in terms of its usefulness, the CrazyRussianHacker channel will give a head start to both the already reviewed and less popular channels. His videos are full of various experiments, life hacks and reviews in the “Do it yourself” style, so there is simply an insane amount of useful information for the viewer. However, the trouble with YouTube is precisely that the vast majority of users come here to watch something “cool”, funny and not taxing on the brain, which is why such a useful channel loses so much to the same Ivangay.

How did the CrazyRussianHacker YouTube channel start? In May 2012, this video was posted:

Of course, this video didn’t even get 300 thousand views, but the style and presentation of the material are already visible here. And it's really interesting! With the growing popularity of the channel, the videos posted by Taras began to gain much more views. For example, this touching video with a “dog” - 6 million:

We strongly recommend that Russian-speaking users familiarize themselves with this channel; fortunately, the “subtitles” function will allow those whose English is not particularly “pumped up” to understand what our fellow countryman is saying in his videos.

Top 10 Russian speakersYouTube channels:SlivkiShow in 4th place

The SlivkiShow channel is another example of the triumph of a Ukrainian video blogger on YouTube. Since the channel was registered on December 11, 2012, it has accumulated as many as 8.5 million subscribers (as of June 2017). His 189 videos collectively collected 1 billion 214 million 470 thousand views.

And the videos on the SlivkiShow channel definitely have the coolest and most touching screensaver!

What does video blogger Yuri Yaniv talk about on his channel? The videos by this author are both interesting and educational. Some are even funny :)

The first video on the channel, for example, was about how to cope with the heat (relevant for many in the summer):

Here’s an interesting observation: if at the beginning of his “career” Yuri Yaniv actively starred in his own releases, then later his face disappeared from the videos, but his pets appeared - the cat Cookie and the hamster Styopa. This change of main characters had an extremely positive impact on the popularity of the SlivkiShow channel! After all, we all know that cats rule the Internet :)

Now the channel is actively developing, it clearly shows “following trends”, that is, coverage of the most interesting topics. So Y. Yaniv can be considered a very insightful person - after all, he knows how to attract even more subscribers to his “army”.

It remains to wish him good luck, and YouTube - more channels like this, which, instead of clogging up the brains of young people, bring real benefit in terms of the overall development of the audience.

Middle Top 10 – channel “AdamThomasMoran

At the moment, the AdamThomasMoran channel has 8 million 308 thousand subscribers, who are total“watched” 1 billion 622 million views. What captivated young viewers so much?

Incredible interesting facts, interesting story? Nope, who needs that! But Max Golopolosov makes good jokes and simply swears masterfully! Well, what else can attract the attention of a 13-15 year old teenager who spends most of his time doing exactly the same thing. Okay, okay, let’s not put clichés on the audience of this channel - we are just emphasizing its main - so to speak, distinctive - features. It’s just that no one else in our Top gives out such a “mix”.

The channel started on July 25, 2010. From the very beginning, the author stated that the idea was borrowed from the mega-popular American blogger of that time - Ray William Johnson. The essence of the idea: take several interesting and funny videos, demonstrate them to YouTube viewers and provide the whole hodgepodge with original author’s comments. And the first video on the channel is proof of this:

Please note that neither the terrible sound nor the equally terrible picture quality prevented the video from gaining more than 8 million views.

However, Max quickly corrected the quality of sound and video, but left the “content” and the leopard wall unchanged throughout all 427 video recordings (as of June 2017).

With his successful experience, Max “infected” many YouTube users, who subsequently also became very successful on YouTube. Thanks to him, a lot of funny content appeared on the expanses of this service, for which we can say “thank you” :)

But enough about all the famous Maxim, let's move on to the next participant.

Sixth place in the top 10 Russian YouTubers – FROST channel

Video blogger FROST and his channel of the same name are another example of how popular the Letsplay genre is on the Internet. The vast majority of the 1,180 videos here are about the author (alone or with friends) playing video games. And yes, the name “Minecraft” appears many, many times here too!

As of June 2017, Frost's channel has more than 6.5 million subscribers, and the number of views has exceeded 2.5 billion. Just imagine how many people were sitting, staring at the monitor and watching the blogger play games! Well, isn't it wonderful?

Who is this Mr. Frost? This is a simple Nizhny Novgorod guy, Yuri Murlin, who in October 2012 decided that he, too, was ready to show the entire Internet how great he was at playing Minecraft and what kind of “head thoughts” he had while doing so. He, of course, poured out these thoughts into the ears of a grateful audience.

It is worth noting that Yuri Frost is not at all shy about showing off his face, loves to communicate with the audience and generally demonstrates in every possible way how cool he is. And, judging by the number of subscribers, many agree that “he’s cool.” Also, obviously, to grow the popularity of the channel, FROST is actively diversifying its content by filming “challenges”, parodies and simply fooling around on camera. Yes, yes, those who are just fooling around can also collect several million views.

The most popular video from the “frozen” YouTuber currently has more than 12.5 million views - this is how much popularity you can “grab” from the mention of another popular blogger.

What can you say about the channel in general? If you like to watch a young, confident jock play various games and have fun in other ways, this is the place for you!

7th place in the ranking of popular RussiansYouTube channels –ThisIsXorosho

It just so happens that often the top bloggers on Russian YouTube are not Russian citizens at all. We have already seen several Ukrainians here, now it’s the Latvians’ turn to make themselves known. And they declared! The Latvian team, known primarily for its presenter Stas Davydov, created a Russian-language channel in October 2010, which over the almost 7 years of its existence has grown to 6 million fans-subscribers! Both subscribers and other viewers watched 712 videos posted on the channel, a total of 1 billion 268 million 620 thousand times! And we are sure that both the army of the “This Is Xorosho” channel and the number of views will only increase.

The fact is that the guys creating this project really put all their talent into it. And, if at first the content looked “damp”, and the presenter did not show himself entirely confidently, then over time the show jumped not just over its own head, but over its head, and several more heads. Peculiar humor, a considerable amount of sarcasm, mentions of trending Internet events, interesting “author’s” inserts, the absence of ear-piercing obscene tirades - this is what makes a successful YouTube channel!

And it all started with this:

Well, after 5 years the show looks like this (feel the difference):

Oh, yes - we didn’t talk about the main thing - the format of the show itself. Remember Max +100500? His channel is also called AdamThomasMoran, and he is in our Top 10 YouTube channels in 5th position. So, This Is Xorosho is almost the same, only without the flow of obscenities and with “tricks”: Nastenka, Channing, Unshaven, “Russian videos from car registrators”, “Random comment” and much more. This channel reviews videos that have either gone viral on the Internet or are the most interesting of the videos that were sent to the channel by viewers. Yes, yes, the cunning creators of this channel simply ask viewers to send interesting “videos”, which will then be shown to them :) Brilliant? Wrong word!

The audience of this YouTube channel is also not particularly respectable, but thanks to the more “intelligent” humor, the This Is Xorosho video is watched by people 25, 30, or more years old.

Let's be honest - we like this channel :)

Well, who is on the 8th line of our “Top”?

Top Russian channelsYoutube –TheKateClapp in 8th place

The idol of millions of girls aged 11-15 years, video blogger Katya Klap has 5.6 million subscribers on her channel of the same name. Ekaterina Trofimova (real name) won her audience with her spontaneity (often adjacent to deliberate infantilism), diversity of “characters” (Katya uses “stage images” of various characters invented by herself and performed by herself), abundance of thematic content (videos for girls – makeup, things, etc.). In general, we can say that the Youtube channel of the 24-year-old “vlogger” is an example of the successful implementation of acting, directing, and marketing talents!

TheKateClapp channel appeared on Youtube on December 6, 2010, and the first video on it was made in the form of a dialogue with an existing loyal viewer:

You shouldn’t be surprised by this presentation: the fact is that TheKateClapp is the second channel of the popular video blogger. The first one is called FoggyDisaster and it was launched 2.5 years earlier - on August 20, 2008. True, it did not gain such popularity, therefore it does not appear in our Top 10 most popular channels on YouTube.

In terms of the number of videos, Katya Clapp’s channel does not try to be “ahead of the rest” - in total, as of June 2017, there are 364 videos. But almost each of them collected more than 2 million views. Well, this “creation” of Katya Clapp has crossed, for example, the 8 million mark!

So cool :)

If there is a channel for girls aged 11-15, then somewhere there must be a channel for boys of the same age. And he is! Even two. They “rest” in the last places of our Top 10 most popular channels on Youtube in Russia.

9th place –Youtube channelTheBrianMaps

The channel with over 5.3 million subscribers belongs to a guy who will turn 18 on September 25, 2017! And the name of this young genius is Maxim Tarasenko. He took the pseudonym “Brian”, which later became the basis for the name of the channel.

What has this blogger been doing on Youtube since June 2012, when the channel was launched? 13-year-old Brian started “let’s play” in Minecraft – i.e. followed fashion trends the then YouTube. And I was right. By the way, M. Tarasenko’s acquaintance with video blogging began not with the illuminated channel, but with the long-abandoned “Maxutko99”, which Brian launched a year earlier.

But let’s not talk about the past, because among all Maxim’s projects, TheBrainMaps made it into our Top 10.

So, as of June 2017, we have 288 videos, the total number of views of which is more than 600 million!

First video on the channel:

It is dated June 30, 2012 and has as many as 604.5 thousand views. For an “ancient” video it’s not bad, even very good.
As stated on the Internet, Brain is watched and loved not only for its trending videos (in addition to Minecraft and reviews of other games, the channel over the past 2 years has been replenished with challenges, sketches in the style of “My cat is trying to kill me” and even rap), but also for its abundance humor in the video.
You can appreciate this humor yourself by watching the video, which as of June 2017 received the maximum number of views on the channel, namely 18 million 187 thousand:

Among the latest creative researches, perhaps, it is worth paying attention to “Rep from a cheeky nanny”:

The blogger has been here for almost 18 years, and therefore he allows himself much more “daring” :) Well, if you pay attention to the comments, you will notice that the age of the viewers does not keep up with the age of the author.

However, we note once again that the TheBrainMaps channel has still found its grateful audience of 5 million, which means this is exactly the kind of content that the “mass consumer” of YouTube needs. And, of course, the influence of video bloggers like Maxim Tarasenko in releasing similar “teenage antics” onto the Internet is difficult to underestimate.

And finally, we move on to the “last” in our orderly row of top channels on Russian Youtube.

10th place in the ranking of the most popularYoutube channels in Russia:MrLololoshka

The MrLolololoshka channel can be safely put in first place in terms of the number of videos shot - there are an unimaginable number of them - 1263 pieces! Considering the date of creation of the channel - May 28, 2012, video blogger Roman Filchenkov turned out to be the most “hardworking” of all the candidates presented in our rating. True, this did not help him gain a foothold above the last place in the Top 10 Youtube channels.

There are a lot of reasons for this, but the main one, perhaps, is that the video blogger MrLololoshka has fallen behind the trends: while other top bloggers diversify their content in every possible way (the main thing is to catch the hype), the video genre on this channel has not changed over the years for the last 5 years, not a bit: just as Romka filmed his process of completing computer games in 2012, he continues to film. The only thing that has changed during this time is the voice of the “leader”. It’s not surprising, because 19-year-old “Mr. Lololoshka” (date of birth: 04/17/1998) is becoming older every year than his main audience.

What about the statistics? 5 million 75 thousand 982 subscribers at the time of preparing our review, the total number of views on the channel is more than 1.3 billion - better than Brian, Katya Clapp and SlivkiShow!

We will also present the very first video on the channel - so to speak, “for show”:

How the channel will further develop from the last place in our ranking of the most popular Russian Youtube channels is anyone’s guess: the excitement around let’s plays is gradually subsiding - and this is reflected in the number of views of the videos (their number has decreased significantly over the past couple of years). Perhaps the comedy rapper MC’Lololoshka will soon conquer Youtube, or stand-ups and vlogs will appear on the channel - who knows where the “wind of hype” will take Roman Filchenkov?! In the meantime, the school YouTube audience can have fun watching an older idol play with toys for them.

That's it, the Top 10 is complete. Whether it was useful or interesting is up to you to decide! We will be glad to see your opinion in the comments :) Good content to everyone and safe internet surfing!!

P.S. If you want to find out for yourself the earnings of a certain channel that is not in our Top 10, we recommend that you read the review that was published on our website.

The popular blogger from TheBrianMaps channel was born in 1999 in the Samara region. Subsequently, the guy’s family moved to St. Petersburg, where he graduated from school and is now receiving higher education. The idea to make videos came to him back in the 5th and 6th grades of school, when the guy was looking through the creations of famous bloggers. In 2011, he created his first channel, where he posted let’s plays and instructions for various software. Then he was inspired by the example of Maxim Golopolosov and began filming funny reviews on videos from the Internet, but this did not bring success to the guy, although the channels have not been deleted to this day.

In 2012, he created TheBrianMaps and, like many current YouTube stars, began posting videos about the game Minecraft. He punctuated his let's plays with funny videos from his life and filming vlogs with friends, which over time allowed him to attract more than 6 million subscribers. Now Maxim Tarasenko shoots exclusively comedic parodies and video sketches on a variety of topics from life. Its main audience is teenagers under the age of 17. The total number of views exceeded 1.5 billion.

Video blogger Mamix does not hide the fact that he started making videos to make money. Maxim Monakhov from Rubtsovsk, Altai Territory, gained his popularity thanks to various experiments and videos from the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) series. Almost 3 million people have subscribed to the guy’s YouTube channel. The incredibly capable Maxim runs other channels in parallel: It’s Mamix, Dawn, etc. Why Mamix needs so many channels is a mystery that torments many fans (the guy deletes some channels, and, as they say, sells some). He even managed to delete a channel with 4 million subscribers, which gave rise to a wave of indignation and heated discussions on the network.

Having gained popularity, the guy and his co-stars moved to Novosibirsk. Maxim Monakhov, born in 1996, is a secretive guy who is reluctant to share information about himself and his family. Therefore, avid and very curious YouTubers regularly search for Mamix, figuring out his house and entrance, new place of residence, etc. It is noteworthy that after a failed experiment with 10 thousand liters of Coca Cola and Mentos candies, on which Maxim spent 350 thousand rubles, his popularity began to grow rapidly. In July 2016, he entered the global TOP of YouTube in terms of growth rate in the number of subscribers. We also note that on his current channel the guy basically does not advertise anything, earning only from donations and YouTube affiliate programs.

HiMan

“The cutest video blogger on Russian-language YouTube” Andrey Shirgin was born in Yekaterinburg in 1999, but on his personal page on the social network “VKontakte” the guy indicated his city of residence as Novosibirsk. He registered his first channel called “Duf Cornege” in 2013, posting funny entertaining videos on it. At first, Andrey specialized in funny game streams, and later launched the “TP-show” section (the videos were dedicated to reviewing strange videos from the female and children’s YouTube audience).

Since October 2014, the HiMan channel has existed - a symbol of its creator’s growing up. On it, Shirgin moved from words to action - he began to shoot interesting videos from the “Do it yourself” category. He makes slot machines, sports cars, candy machines, etc. from cardboard. Significantly more people are subscribed to the channel in the new format: over 2.7 million (Dufa Cornege has much fewer fans - only 308 thousand). Fascinating videos about miracles made of cardboard (and more) have collected a total of 373 million views. For comparison: total number Sobolev’s views are just over 340 million.

The most popular girl blogger in the Russian-language segment of YouTube was born in Moscow in 1997. Alexandra Balkovskaya chose an unusual pseudonym and promised her parents that they would real name no one will know, and in return she received complete freedom on the Internet. For a long time, the girl hid her personal data, but in 2016, Kommersant published an article dedicated to her and her father, a businessman and producer collaborating with Timur Bekmambetov.

It was the father who was actively involved in promoting his daughter, paying for her appearances in videos of popular bloggers. A well-thought-out, successful project brings impressive profits: with 5.7 million subscribers and a total number of video views exceeding 846 million, she earns up to $40 thousand monthly (amounts vary depending on the monetization methods considered: payments from affiliate programs , rewards for integrated advertising, etc.).

Sasha Spielberg’s success extends far beyond the RuNet: she managed to play herself in the films “Hack the Bloggers” and “Yolki 5” (produced and directed by Timur Bekmabmetov). Alexandra spoke in the State Duma and interviewed the Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky. She sings and acts in films, and also plans to conquer the English-speaking audience, for which she created a separate channel, Sasha.

Max +100500, a chef by first education, is one of the TOP 5 most popular bloggers on Russian-language YouTube, and the total number of views of his humorous videos exceeds 1.8 billion. Maxim Golopolosov was born in the capital in 1989, graduated from 9 grades, entered technical school After working for a year after graduation, he entered university, and in 2010 he began filming videos for YouYube.

Golopolosov openly borrowed the idea of the show “+100500” from the world famous blogger from New York, Ray William Johnson. The format of sarcastic reviews of funny videos was quite new for Russia, which allowed the AdamThomasMoran channel team to quickly gain popularity. Now he has 9 million subscribers, who appreciate the sense of humor and subtle taste of the YouTuber, who invariably shoots videos against the backdrop of a leopard-print carpet.

Maxim simultaneously runs several projects: a channel about foreign travel MoranDays and an entertainment website CarabmaTV, plays the guitar amateur music group 2ND Season. He also managed to work as a TV presenter on the Yu and Peretz channels. Golopolosov’s income from many successful projects is about 12 thousand US dollars per month!

Maryana Rozhkova, previously best known as Ivangay's girl, has become one of the leaders of the Russian-language segment of YouTube thanks to her attractive appearance, excellent taste, ability to apply makeup and a good sense of humor. She publishes videos on her channel about everyday life, travel, makeup, and more recently she also sings. Just over 6 million people have subscribed to the Maryana Ro channel.

Maryana was born in 1999 into a family of entrepreneurs from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. When the girl was 9, her family moved to Japan, to the island of Hokkaido. The family favorite was always pampered; from childhood she was taught to wear beautiful dresses, do hair in beauty salons and pose for the camera. While studying in middle school, she registered on social networks, published videos and photos from her life, and when the number of subscribers began to grow rapidly, she started her own YouTube channel. The first video, titled “How Much Do TV Shows Affect Me?” she published in 2014.

The girl's relationship with Ukrainian-born Let's Play player Ivan Rudsky brought her wide online fame. The girl claims that she did not know about the guy’s popularity, but when she saw his photo, she fell in love at first sight. They corresponded, then the guy moved to Japan, and the couple began dating. After 2 years of intense relationships, breakups and reunions, the couple finally broke up, and Rudskoy accused the girl of using him to gain popularity.

Nikolai Yuryevich Sobolev was born in St. Petersburg in 1993. After graduating from St. Petersburg State University with a degree in economics and management, he devoted himself entirely to working on the YouTube projects Rakamakafo and Ready Steady Go. Initially, he organized social pranks together with his university friend Guram Narmania (for this the guys were awarded a prize from the St. Petersburg portal Sobaka.ru).

In 2015, he launched his own YouTube Life channel, where he covered current events and discussed pressing social issues. Since 2016, the channel has become a personal one. Over 4 million people have subscribed to SOBOLEV. After filming several episodes of the “Let Them Talk” program dedicated to the heartbreaking story of D.A. Shurygina, Sobolev ceased to be a “Kolya-hater” and became a “high-eater of all Rus'.” Many ill-wishers insist: it was the hype on the topic of rape that brought him fame and money (according to conservative estimates, his income from affiliate programs and advertisements bring in up to $5,900 per month). He also released a book called YouTube: The Path to Success. How to get loads of likes and tons of money.” The guy clearly knows what he's talking about!

Eldar Kazanfarovich Dzharakhov was born in 1994 in a small village in the Lipetsk region, and then his family moved to Novokuznetsk. At the age of 5 the boy was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus, but this did not stop him from leading an active lifestyle and becoming a school star, participating in all public events. Together with his classmate and friend, Eldar began recording rap songs, and after graduating from high school, videos for YouTube.

Currently, 2.57 million people have subscribed to Dzharakhov’s channel. Since 2010, the “Successful Group” (that’s the name of the duet of Eldar and Alexander “Tileks” Smirnov) has been recording funny videos for their own and other people’s songs. Popularity overtook the guys after the release of a track and video in 2012, dedicated to the popular MDK community and gaining 1 million views. What finally helped them become famous was a parody video of the music of the South Korean artist Psy - Gangnam Style. The parody, titled “Red Macasin,” received a total of 8.47 million views.

Eldar Dzharakhov’s personalized channel has existed since 2014. Then the blogger moved to St. Petersburg and began publishing videos about his life. After a short depression and a break from work in mid-2017, Eldar switched to filming parodies.

Frost

Yuri Mashtakov was born in 1995 in Nizhny Novgorod. Popularity came to Morozilka quite early: he registered his channel on YouTube in 2012. Let's play developer Frost made the first video about the game Sumotori Dreams, and later switched to the more popular Minecraft. Yuri shot his first works together with his brother, who later started his own channel called JustSnake.

Now Yuri Frost makes a lot of funny videos about his life, travels, sports, but he also doesn’t forget about his passion for video games. Morozilka is a unique blogger who, with a smaller number of subscribers (7 million people), significantly surpasses seasoned YouTubers, including Max +100500, in the total number of views - more than 2.7 billion! In 2015, Yuri Mashtakov’s channel received the “Golden Button” of YouTube, about which a separate video was shot. According to average estimates from various services, Frost earned more than $500 thousand from his channel, and his monthly income can reach $40 thousand.

Popular Russian blogger Kate Clapp has a million-strong army of Russian-speaking fans: more than 6 million people have subscribed to her YouTube channel. Ekaterina Trofimova (real name of the Internet celebrity) was born on May 19, 1993 in an ordinary Moscow family: the girl’s father is a mechanic, and her mother is an interior designer. Katya became interested in filming videos at the age of 16, and after graduating from the 1222nd secondary school in Moscow, she entered the directing department at the Institute of Contemporary Art.

Initially, Ekaterina Trofimova filmed videos for the FoggyDisaster channel, but since 2008 she registered a current resource - TheKateClapp. The main genre directions of the channel are funny sketches, reasoning, but there are also musical parodies. It is noteworthy that the first video uploaded to the new channel (“Half-liter mouse”) did not bring success to the girl. It started later - after the publication of the video “Anthem of the Schoolboys”. It was he who became the first to get 1 million views.

Katya Klap is a successful Russian blogger. Until 2015, she actively worked on two channels, temporarily reviving her first brainchild FoggyDisaster to publish parody videos, interactive videos, etc. Parody videos brought Ekaterina popularity, but now she actively shares her thoughts and observations with subscribers, has posted many vlogs about her daily life, shoots beauty videos, thanks to which she began collaborating with popular cosmetic brands such as Benefit (the brand produces exclusive gift sets together with a blogger).

Outstanding YouTube interviewer Yuri Dud was a successful, respected person even before the creation of the channel. Born in 1986 in the German Democratic Republic, Yuri Aleksandrovich Dud for a long time worked in the field of journalism, including on “Russia-2”. Journalism is Dudya’s calling, because at the age of 11 he began writing notes for various newspapers, and from the age of 14 he worked as a freelance correspondent for Izvestia. Since 1990, Yuri and his family have lived in Russia. He is, of course, a journalist by education: he graduated from Moscow State University in 2008.

Dudya's specialty is interviews: he took, takes and will take. At Shnur, Navalny, Posner, Sobchak, Artemy Lebedev. Having become proficient in this matter while working at Macht TV, in 2014 he registered his own channel called “vDud”. His talent for asking awkward and tricky questions helped him gather an army of 2.66 million subscribers, and the regiment is constantly growing: about 10 thousand people subscribe to the channel every day. The total number of views exceeds 221 million. Yuri successfully combines his profession as a YouTube blogger with the position of editor-in-chief of the sports portal Sports.ru. Since the end of 2017, he has been an official of Alfa-Bank. One of the oldest top bloggers in Russia is married and has two children.

Popular Russian beauty blogger Maria Wei is rightfully included in the TOP 3 most influential bloggers in Russia among women. The secret of success is simple: pretty appearance + self-irony + style and makeup tips suitable for a wide audience. Maria Kerimova (no, not Roma Zhelud's sister) was born in Tambov in 1992 (or maybe in 1994). Despite her wild popularity and 4 million army of subscribers, the girl is secretive: she keeps information about her personal life, relatives and friends secret.

The girl has a diploma in finance, but she never wanted to be one (at school she was interested in literature, philosophy, and later - filming videos). At first she participated in recording a video for someone else’s channel, and in high school she registered her own, promising her parents that no one would know her real name. Since 2012, she has been publishing videos about beauty and style, and has also taken part in the filming of video clips for the group “Nerves”, as well as Anton Rival and Dima Vlaskin. Real success was not long in coming, and since 2015 Maria has been hosting a television program about fashion and show business news on the youth channel “STS Love”.

Money and success came to Amiran Sardarov long before registering on YouTube. The man managed to write several books about running a business and managed an advertising agency, but in 2015 he wanted more - fame. He received it in full by registering the controversial channel “Khach’s Diary”. Videos in vlog format tell about luxurious Moscow life, show expensive cars and beautiful girls, but it was presented cheerfully and with enthusiasm, which determined the success of the project.

Sardarov does not hide: the project is commercial. “As long as I’m in trend, I can sell at a high price,” he says about the cost of built-in advertising on the channel. Amiran’s main channel brings in about $6 thousand monthly, and the additional one, “Chaika’s Warehouse,” brings in up to $7 thousand (it publishes materials that are not included in the main videos). Initially, Sardarov wanted to create a motivating channel for young people and share smart thoughts, but something went wrong: the blogger’s first project turned out to be a failure and could not cross the bar of 10 thousand subscribers in 1.5 years. Currently, 2.5 million people have subscribed to “Khach’s Diary”.

The most popular channel in Russia in the field of technology and gadget reviews, judging by subscribers, is Wylsacom. 5.2 million people subscribed to it, and the total number of views was more than 1 billion. In 2011, it was created by Valentin Petukhov, a long-time fan of Apple technology, who initially dedicated all the videos to products from Cupertino, but later diluted the content of the channel with reviews of Android smartphones. action cameras, quadcopters and other modern devices.

Valentin has always been interested in technology and wrote reviews for Internet portals as a freelancer. But such work did not bring the desired income, and he got a job as a lawyer. But this work did not bring pleasure, and then he found a way out - he created his own channel on YouTube. Its name contains the phrase “Would you like some apple?” (“Would you like an apple?”). At first, the country almost lost its excellent reviewer. Fortunately, the disillusioned former lawyer quickly began to gain popularity, and the idea of deleting the channel no longer occurred to him. Valentin hides information about his personal life and biography. We only know that he is 32 years old, he is married, and the Petukhov family has two children: a son and a daughter.

A comedy video blogger from Latvia, born in 1987, during his school years he was fond of rock music and radio electronics. He still plays and sings in the musical group “Banana bomb”. While studying at Riga technical university the guy performed in the KVN team “Room 109”, became interested in the topic of humor, and also knew excellent English, which allowed him to watch videos of the American Ray William Johnson. He was inspired by the example of an overseas celebrity, creating his own channel in 2010, and that’s good!

Almost 6 million people have subscribed to Stas Davydov’s channel, and the total number of views exceeds 1.3 billion. The Latvian joker publishes weekly reviews of funny videos from the Internet that subscribers send him. An important difference between Stas’s videos is the absence of obscene language, which abounds in the reviews of the main competitor, Max +100500. It is noteworthy that in 2016, an episode was released on the AdamThomasMoran channel, hosted by Stas Davydov.
