Benefits of a stove bench

Before the advent of modern medicine, our ancestors were treated with decoctions, steaming in a bathhouse and lying on the stove. The latter during non-working hours was always at hand and back. A few nights in a warm building, and not only the cold went away, but also severe pain in the joints.

Sometimes receded and more serious sores. But it's not just about healing properties. It is very pleasant to roll on a heated couch. No wonder the hero from the fairy tale stubbornly did not want to get off the stove. Therefore, the popularity of the classic "heating equipment" is returning.

The oven can be ordered by a specialist, or you can do it yourself. And about that, follow the link.

How to build a Russian stove yourself?

Classic stoves had dimensions of approximately 2000x3000 mm. Modern designs are considered overall if they reach a size of 1500x2300 mm. Small structures include structures with a length and width of up to 1800 mm.

Such structures are of several types. But they all share a number of common elements:

  • heating stove;
  • couch;
  • oven;
  • hob;
  • ash pan.

There may also be a place for utensils and a firewood shed. To build a structure, you must have an ordering scheme. The article discusses in detail the order of laying. But first you need to take care of the base.

We will not dwell on this option in detail. From the previous diagram, it is easy to understand what each element in the illustration represents.

This model is one of the simplest. However, it is effective and effective. Unlike more complex designs, this one can also be entrusted to even a relatively unprepared homeowner.

The nuances of the stove device

The outer part of the chimney is preferably made of silicate brick. It is more resistant to moisture and temperature fluctuations. After laying the chimney, fittings are installed that have not yet been installed (cast-iron hob, etc.).

If the goal is simple brickwork, then you can get by with a simple cleaning and alignment of the seams. If the plans include decorating a wood-burning stove, you do not need to pay attention to the joints. Typically, such structures are decorated with heat-resistant ceramic tiles. For example, or clinker.

The first option is preferable in terms of heat transfer. The tiles are characterized by a box-like back shape, which increases the thermal efficiency of the coating.

Figure 7. Tiled stove

Those who do not want to mess with tiles, but seek to somehow decorate the structure, can be recommended to paint the stove with heat-resistant paint. You can decorate in the traditional Russian ornamental style.

Between the main structure and the chimney - in the overlap zone - a thermal protection device is required. It is made, for example, from basalt panels. It is advisable to use plates up to 100 mm thick. In extreme cases, you can get by with 50 mm. But not thinner.

As a masonry mixture, you can use both purchased and self-made mortar. In the latter case, the composition of clay and sand is used. The ratio of components is from 1:1 to 1:2, respectively. The specifics depend on the quality of the clay. The choice of proportion is determined experimentally. Nevertheless, it is recommended not to be stingy and purchase a ready-made mixture with a verified ratio of components.

Conclusion

Figure 8. A stove bench made of fireclay bricks

There are a huge number of schemes of stoves with a stove bench. Some of them are relatively simple (like the one in this article). Others are distinguished by an abundance of structural elements. It is better to entrust complex masonry to a professional, otherwise problems cannot be avoided. In any case, before starting work, it is advisable to get approval from a specialist. Then it is unlikely that you will have to regret the incorrect functioning or short operating life of the stove.

Examples of the use of the word golbets in the literature.

Makar wiped the Lithuanian coat with a bunch of grass, slyly winked at Akulina, his wife: how, they say, now Kuzevan the dark believer will spin if a passer-by really dives into his hut and on golbets will it come across with an icon?

She made a bed for herself on the Russian stove, where she slept most of all in winter and summer, climbing onto the stove through golbets, and Katerina settled herself on a trestle bed in the front corner.

In order to kill some kind of oppressive, suffocating anxiety that had come from no one knows why, Darya wanted to get up - and so she wanted to, it seemed so necessary that she, realizing that there was no need for this, nevertheless hurriedly put her feet in socks on the step, went down the stairs. golbets on the floor and approached the window.

One thing is clear - they fought hard here, in the dark how much they whipped in vain and in golbtse they rummaged, but they didn’t move their clothes and renew them, as the old woman threw them into a corner, and here they lie.

It is known that an unmanaged house does not last long, they will quickly tear it apart, and then they also remembered that hitniks in golbtse were looking for something.

This stove is designed both for heating the house and for cooking, i.e. is a heating and cooking stove. The furnace I.V. was taken as the basis of the project. Kuznetsov RTIK 3, which in turn is an improved version of the Teplushka-2 furnace by I.S. Podgorodnikov. A feature of the oven is the absence of a bench above the cooking chamber of the oven. However, this makes the oven warmer and can heat a larger room. This is made possible by increasing the size of the furnace in height.

The positive qualities in the design of the furnace include a rather deep, more than 70 cm, fuel chamber, as well as a removable stove hob. Due to the fact that access to the cooking stove and the fuel chamber door are located on different surfaces of the oven, when cooking on the stove, there is no thermal effect from the heated fuel chamber door on the person who is cooking. Cooking in this case can be carried out both on the hob and in the cooking chamber, which is the bread chamber of the oven.

The advantage of the furnace is that it has several modes of operation.

Firstly, this is a firebox in summer. Hot gases with the open valve of the "summer" course can be sent directly to the pipe without heating the heating chamber.

Secondly, a winter firebox. At the same time, gases necessarily warm up the heating chamber and only after that go into the pipe.

The next mode is the furnace for baking. The fuel burned in the fuel chamber warms up the cooking chamber. In this case, the door damper of the cooking chamber must be closed without fail. After the oven is heated and the cooking chamber warms up, you can bake bread and cook food in it.

The stove can be fired like an ordinary Russian stove, with the cooking chamber door open. In this case, the fuel is placed on the bottom of the cooking chamber, and the furnace door of the chamber is removed. If the main smoke damper is closed and the ventilation valve is open, the smoke will go into the chimney through the open door of the cooking chamber. If you open the main valve and close the ventilation valve, until the smoke goes into the room, the bottom of the furnace will also warm up.

The furnace has dimensions at the base of 1020x1270 mm. Its height is 2 m 10 cm.

Heat transfer not less than 5000 W at a two-time fire chamber. The area of the heated room is up to 40-45 m2.
