The Shadrinsk television company (SHTV) began work on November 7, 1990 with a report on the festive demonstration dedicated to the 73rd anniversary of the October Revolution. The origins of Shadrinsk television were the drivers of the Shadrinsk locomotive depot Vyacheslav Volynkin and Vitaly Kungurov.
In 1992, the television company was experiencing a crisis, but thanks to its employees and viewers, it continued broadcasting.
From 1993 to 1998 broadcast on the NTV channel (channel 9) from Monday to Friday from 18:00 to 21:00 (various programs), and from 21:35 to 22:00 (news broadcast). In addition to Shadrin’s programs, programs from the “VE” (Orient Express) channel, the films “Thunder in Paradise”, “Heat in Acapulco”, the animated series “Tom and Jerry”, etc. were broadcast. Since the same time, the program for motorists “Wheels +” (Ekaterinburg ), etc.
From 1998, ShTV programs were broadcast on the TNT channel (TV channel 22) until December 2007 - from Monday to Friday at 19:00 (from 30 minutes to an hour). From January to December 2008 - from Monday to Friday at 19:30 (30 min.).
